Junior Vargas was born and raised on a coffee farm in the enchanting city of Cusco, Peru. His childhood was filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and the sound of his family's coffee machines. Junior's family had been in the coffee industry for generations, and he learned the trade from a young age.
As Junior grew up, he became more and more involved in his family's coffee business. He learned everything from planting, harvesting, and processing coffee beans to roasting, brewing, and serving coffee to customers. Junior's passion for coffee continued to grow, and he knew that he wanted to make a career out of it.
After completing his studies in hospitality management, Junior began his barista career. He worked tirelessly, gaining valuable experience and knowledge while traveling the world and working in various coffee shops. It wasn't long before Junior began to make a name for himself in the coffee industry.
Junior's talent and dedication to the craft of coffee were soon recognized by his peers. He became a four-time national barista champion and a world espresso champion. Junior's unique approach to coffee, along with his expert knowledge of the industry, made him stand out from the crowd.
Today, Junior is a well-respected figure in the coffee industry. He is a sought-after speaker at coffee events and a mentor to aspiring baristas around the world. Junior's passion for coffee has taken him on a remarkable journey, and he has become a true ambassador for the industry.
Looking back on his childhood on the coffee farm in Cusco, Junior knows that it was his early connection to the industry that set him on his path. He is grateful for the opportunity to work with his family and to learn from their expertise.
